The first seed order (and a soil test kit) came in.  Just got confirmation of another big order being sent.
The truck with pots and other supplies is due on Thursday.
February 15th is looking closer and closer.

Happy New Year, everyone.

  1. That is a lot of seeds. The soil test kit sounds interesting. Do you use them often? Looks like your spring 2013 gardening is off to a wonderful start.

    Happy News Years!

    1. We are planting high-bush blueberries and they need acidic soil, so I will use the ph test for that. Some things don't grow well in our garden, even with the addition of manure, so I want to soil test to see why. I have never done this before.

  2. Oh, I'm so glad I found your blog, by way of Tootsie! I visited your lilies, daylilies, glads seedlings and cats. I peeked into the greenhouse. I saw your Mom's Christmas Cactus and the recipe for dill pickle soup.

I garden in the Gulf South (Georgia) with a greenhouse cat and a dog and He-who-mows (also a Kubota man). My greenhouse is only 10 x 12 but a joy in the winter where I can get out of the wind.

I look forward to watching your plants grow soon. I'm commenting via Wordpress because Google hates me when I comment. My Blogspot blogs are the better ones.
